The Gananoque Police Service is inviting residents to help fight hunger during its Cruising Against Hunger food drive this Saturday.
Members of the Youth in Policing Initiative will be collecting donations for the Gananoque Food Bank outside Metro and No Frills from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items, household essentials or monetary contributions to help support local families in need.
Police say every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference for those relying on the Food Bank.
The event is part of the Gananoque Police Service’s ongoing commitment to community outreach and supporting local organizations.
Residents are encouraged to stop by either location and help make a positive impact in the community.
