Here’s what’s happening in Gananoque and the Thousand Islands:
A couple of great programs continue on Friday at the Lyndhurst Public Library. Starting at 2pm will be Storytime and all ages are welcome. At 2:30pm the branch will host Under The Sea Games for all ages.
Saturday the first ever Cruising Against Hunger fundraiser will take place at Metro and No Frills Locations in Gananoque from 10am until 2pm. Gananoque Police along with the Youth In Policing Initiative will be on hand at both locations accepting monetary and non perishable food donations for the Gananoque Food Bank.
Saturday night the Empire Super Sprints invade the Brockville Ontario Speedway with a full program of racing action beginning at 7pm. Spectator gates open at 4pm and all ages are welcome.
Sunday it will be a great day for fishing during the Cops Kids and Canadian Tire Fishing Days from 9am until noon at Joel Stone Park in Gananoque. Youth of all ages are welcome to come out for a day of fishing and prizes. Local Mp Michael Barrett, MPP Steve Clark along with Minister of Natural Resources Mike Harris will be on hand. Come early to register at Joel Stone Park.
