Families in Seeley’s Bay are invited to celebrate a summer of reading later this month at the TD Summer Reading Club Wrap-Up Party.
The event will take place Saturday, Aug. 22, from noon to 2 p.m. at Centennial Park in Seeley’s Bay. Organized by the Leeds and Thousand Islands Public Library, the gathering will mark the conclusion of this year’s TD Summer Reading Club program.
Participants can enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, including books, games, crafts, bubbles and snacks. Organizers say the event is designed to celebrate reading while bringing children and families together for an afternoon of fun.
Those who register by Aug. 19 will also receive free pizza, thanks to support from the Seeley’s Bay and Area Residents’ Association (SBARA).
The TD Summer Reading Club is a national program that encourages children to continue reading throughout the summer months and helps foster literacy skills outside the classroom.
