Two people are facing charges following a search at a South Frontenac property by the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit.
Police say the investigation began earlier this month following reports of stolen property. On Friday, August 21st, members of the CSCU, assisted by the Emergency Response Team and Frontenac Detachment, executed a search warrant.
Officers seized approximately 50 grams of suspected methamphetamine, two grams of suspected fentanyl, assorted pills, stolen property including a camper trailer, ATV, dirt bike and hand tools, as well as a homemade conducted energy weapon. Police also seized about one-thousand dollars in Canadian currency and digital scales.
Thirty-eight-year-old Timothy Reid of South Frontenac faces multiple drug, weapons and property-related charges. Fifty-seven-year-old Derek Veley of Greater Napanee faces a charge of failing to comply with a release order. Both were held for bail hearings.
