The Ontario Trillium Foundation is introducing a new Sector Grant stream designed to strengthen the capacity and resilience of Ontario’s non-profit sector.
The grants will support projects addressing shared needs and emerging opportunities. Eligible projects could create tools and approaches to help non-profits respond to changing community needs, improve how data is collected and shared, or build knowledge about diverse and non-traditional funding sources.
Eligible applicants must be non-profit organizations with an established mandate, presence and reputation for supporting Ontario’s non-profit sector. Organizations that solely deliver direct community programs and services are not eligible.
Grants range from 50-thousand to 300-thousand dollars per year, for one, two or three years.
Applications involve two steps. The first runs from September 23rd to October 14th, with the second stage running from October 15th to December 2nd for applicants who meet the initial requirements.
The OTF is also offering webinars and project-specific coaching calls.
