Gananoque Council will hold its regular meeting Wednesday, September 2nd, with a closed session beginning at 4 p.m. and open session at 5 p.m. at Town Hall.
Among the items on the agenda is a report on the 2027 Ontario Provincial Police costing estimate. Council will also consider reports on Municipal Accommodation Tax revenue, the East End Pumping Station and water and wastewater operations.
Several motions are also being brought forward by Mayor John Beddows. They include a proposal for a one-time fall 2026 curbside pickup of leaves and brush at Town expense, garbage receptacles at the vehicle charging station, and recording and publicly releasing full audio and video recordings of Council meetings.
Council will also consider motions involving the ratification of previous Council decisions and reopening the question of recording and publishing Council meetings.
The meeting’s open session begins at 5 p.m.
