Residents in Leeds and Thousand Islands may notice roadside spraying as part of a fall program targeting phragmites, an invasive plant species.
The spraying program is scheduled to run from September 14th to 30th along several local roads.
Affected areas include Union Road, Fairfax Road, Maple Grove Road, Russell Road and Sand Bay Road. Spraying will also take place along County Road 2 at the Escott Archives property.
The work is being carried out as part of efforts to manage phragmites along local roadsides.
