Parks Canada is advising residents and visitors of a temporary disruption to pedestrian access at the Brass Point Bridge in Seeley’s Bay.
The pedestrian crossing will be unavailable on Thursday, September 17th, beginning at 7 a.m. and continuing until work is completed that day.
The temporary closure is needed to support ongoing construction associated with the Brass Point Bridge replacement project.
Pedestrians will not be able to cross the bridge during the closure. Parks Canada says navigation through the area will not be affected.
The Rideau Canal National Historic Site is asking residents, businesses and visitors for their patience and understanding as the infrastructure project continues.
