The Frontenac Howe Islander County-operated ferry will be out of service Tuesday, September 25th, for scheduled maintenance and dock repairs.
The ferry will be unavailable from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. to allow Ministry of Transportation staff and contractors to complete work on the inside corners of the ferry docks.
The work is intended to address ongoing docking issues that have been affecting ferry operations.
Island residents and visitors who rely on the ferry are being asked to plan ahead and make alternative arrangements during the service interruption.
The ferry is expected to resume service following the completion of the maintenance and dock work.
The County says the repairs will help improve docking conditions and support more reliable ferry operations moving forward.
