Gananoque Council has a busy agenda for its regular meeting Wednesday, September 16th, with several development and transportation issues on the table.
Council will hear a presentation on a proposed development on Elmwood Drive, with representatives from MHBC Planning and Forefront Engineering. The Elmwood Subdivision Group will also make a delegation to Council and present a petition.
The proposed provincial e-scooter pilot program is returning as unfinished business, along with the Plan of Subdivision and Class III Development Permit connected to Elmwood Drive.
Councillor Kirkby is bringing forward a motion regarding rideshare services in Gananoque.
Council will also consider the 2026 draft Business Improvement Area budget and a request supporting permanent Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund funding.
Other agenda items include municipal election nomination procedures, Joint Compliance Audit Committee appointments and a homelessness planning update from the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. at Town Hall.
