In an effort to keep the Gananoque Soup Kitchen going and start the transition of Donevan’s Hardware store, a special sale of select items will be taking place today through Sunday. Gord McFarlane says its an opportunity to walk away with something special at a good price.
The Gananoque Soup Kitchen has been successful as Gord McFarlane explains, but also relies totally on the donations it takes in everyday.
McFarlane added that at the Soup Kitchen, Nick at Moroni’s has now added pizza to the menu. He added that the store is not closing but is getting out of the hardware business to focus on selling clothing, antiques and miscellaneous items.
