Gananoque voters will soon be receiving the information they need to cast their ballots in the 2026 municipal and school board election.
The Town says Voter Information Letters are expected to arrive in the mail beginning October 5th. The letters contain instructions for voting by internet or telephone, along with a personal identification number, or PIN. Voters are reminded not to share their PIN.
Voting begins Monday, October 19th at 10 a.m. and continues until Monday, October 26th at 8 p.m.
There will be no paper ballots, with voters able to cast their ballots from anywhere with internet or telephone service.
Anyone needing assistance or requiring a replacement Voter Information Letter can visit Town Hall at 30 King Street East during designated hours throughout the voting period.
The Town says identification will be required when obtaining a replacement letter. Election officials can also be reached by phone or email for assistance.
