Gananoque Intermediate and Secondary School students have once again shown their community spirit, raising $1,582 during the school’s annual Terry Fox assembly.
The fundraising event brought students and staff together to honour the legacy of Terry Fox and support cancer research.
Organizers thanked everyone who donated and participated in making the event a success. Special recognition was given to the school’s Link Crew, which helped coordinate the assembly and encourage school-wide involvement.
School officials praised the strong turnout and community support, saying the fundraiser highlighted the generosity of the GISS school community while helping advance the fight against cancer across Canada.
