The Ontario SPCA Leeds & Grenville Animal Centre says it needs donations of toilet paper, paper towels and printer paper to keep its shelter running smoothly.
The centre, at 800 Centennial Road in Brockville, says donations of any size can help support the animals in its care.
People can drop off supplies daily between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., according to the shelter.
For those who cannot make it to the centre, the Ontario SPCA also has an Amazon wishlist where supporters can purchase needed items online.
The appeal comes with a thank-you to the Leeds and Grenville community for its continued support of the animals.
The shelter says it could not do its work without that support.
For local residents looking for a simple way to help, the request offers a practical option: donate a few household essentials.
