Gananoque property owners are being reminded that the second installment of their 2026 final property tax bill is due Oct. 30.
The town says payments must be received by the due date, and late payment penalties will apply. Property owners who did not receive a tax bill are still responsible for paying their taxes.
Residents with questions about their bill or who have not received it can contact the town’s taxes and revenue department by email or phone.
The town offers two interest-free pre-authorized payment plans to help residents make payments on time. Plans are recalculated twice a year to reflect changes in property assessment and tax rates. A void cheque or pre-authorized debit form is required, and accounts must be up to date to enroll.
Residents can also access their tax accounts through the town’s online portal. The town recommends keeping a copy of tax bills for income tax purposes. Fees apply for bill reprints and payment confirmation letters.
