Entrepreneurs across Leeds and Grenville have until Wednesday, October 14th at noon to apply for Leeds Grenville’s Greatest Entrepreneur competition.
Presented by the 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation and Community Futures Grenville, the competition is open to eligible new, existing and not-yet-started businesses.
Applicants must submit a written application and cash-flow template. Up to six finalists will be selected and receive support to prepare their pitches for the competition gala in February 2027.
Two grand-prize winners will each receive $10,000 in cash, along with business support prizes. Four runners-up will also receive smaller cash prizes and business support.
All finalists will benefit from coaching, community exposure and opportunities to connect with local business leaders.
The competition is supported by sponsors, including iTrepreneur, along with local businesses, municipalities, community organizations and financial institutions.
Organizers say the initiative aims to support local business ideas and help entrepreneurs move their ventures forward.
