Public skating is back at the Lou Jeffries Gananoque and Thousand Islands Recreation Centre, giving residents another opportunity to get out on the ice this fall.
The arena at 600 King Street East is offering several skating sessions throughout the week, including public skate, sensory skate, adult and senior skate, and parent and tot skating.
Public skating costs three dollars per person, while specialized sessions are two dollars per person.
The schedule runs through Monday, October 19th, with sessions available Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday and Monday.
No online registration is required, and the skates are open and unsupervised. Standard skating supports are permitted, but horseplay, tag and racing are not allowed.
Skaters are asked to bring cash and exact change. Dates and times may change, so residents should check the latest schedule before heading to the arena.
