There are plenty of opportunities to hit the ice this week at the Lou Jeffries Arena.
Public skating sessions are scheduled Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday and Monday, with admission costing three dollars per person.
Special sessions include sensory skating Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., along with adult and senior skating Wednesday and Friday from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Parent and tot skating is also available Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Both programs cost two dollars per person.
The recreation centre is located at 600 King Street East in Gananoque. No online registration is required, but skaters should bring cash and exact change.
Organizers remind participants that horseplay, tag and racing are not permitted during these unsupervised sessions.
