The Gananoque Lions Club Family Branch is helping support children’s health through a recent community fundraising event.
The club is thanking everyone who participated in its Pay It Forward with Paint event held this month, which raised $185 for SickKids.
Organizers say many children in the local community have benefited from the care and services provided by SickKids, making the donation an opportunity to help children close to home and beyond.
The club also extended its thanks to Brightside for organizing the event and to Vicki Leakey for helping find a suitable and affordable location for the Pay It Forward with Paint gatherings.
The initiative brings people together through creative activities while raising money for a worthwhile cause.
The Lions Club says every contribution helps make a positive difference in the lives of children and their families.
