Here’s what’s happening in Gananoque and the Thousand Islands:
The community calendar is filling up with Halloween fun, family activities and a few chances to test your skills this weekend.
If you’re looking for something strategic, check out Chess Nuts at the Lansdowne Public Library, getting underway at 3:45 p.m. Then later in the evening, teens can head over to Youth After Hours, running from 6 until 8 p.m.
Halloween excitement continues with a special Halloween Poker Run hosted by the Thousand Islands ATV Club on Saturday at 110 Kidd Road South. Riders are encouraged to dress for the season and enjoy a spooky spin through the area.
And for families looking to celebrate early, the Kids Halloween Double Feature is coming to the Seeleys Bay Legion on Sunday, October 25th. The free event runs from 2 until 8 p.m. with activities, food and movies for all ages. Family-friendly films run from 2 to 6, followed by a Halloween movie for older kids from 6 to 8. Costumes are encouraged, and children under 12 must be signed in and out.
