The Frontenac-Howe Islander County-operated ferry will be out of service Tuesday, October 27th, for scheduled maintenance.
The service interruption is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Residents and commuters who rely on the ferry to travel between Howe Island and the mainland are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for their trips.
The temporary shutdown is necessary to complete maintenance work on the ferry.
Travellers should keep the scheduled outage in mind when planning appointments, work commutes or other activities during the affected hours.
Regular service is expected to resume after the maintenance period is complete.
