The Town of Gananoque has announced the theme for this year’s Santa Claus Parade, inviting residents and local groups to get creative with their holiday entries.
The 2026 theme is “Christmas on the River: The Great Elf Escape!”
Organizers are encouraging participants to bring their best elf mischief, Christmas magic and river-inspired creativity to the annual event.
Floats, costumes, vehicles and decorations are all welcome, with plenty of room for imaginative ideas as the story of escaped North Pole elves taking over Gananoque comes to life.
The Town says anything goes when it comes to celebrating the theme and adding some festive fun to the parade.
Residents and community groups are encouraged to start planning their entries for this year’s holiday celebration.
