Looking for ways to stay active, meet new people, or enjoy a little friendly competition? There are plenty of community activities coming up around Gananoque and Seeley’s Bay!
First up, the Wrinkle Room is reopening at the Gananoque Legion on Monday, welcoming seniors aged 55 and over from 1 until 4 p.m. Drop in for games, knitting, and other activities. The room is fully accessible, making it a comfortable place to get together, make connections, and enjoy an afternoon with friends.
If you’d rather hit the ice, public skating takes place Monday at the Lou Jeffries Gananoque and TLTI Recreation Centre, located at 600 King Street East. Skating runs from 3:30 until 5 p.m., and admission is just three dollars per person.
And for those who enjoy cards, there are more chances to play throughout the week!
Every Monday, cribbage gets underway at the Gananoque Legion at 1 p.m.
Then on Tuesday, the Gananoque Legion hosts bridge, also starting at 1 p.m. Meanwhile, cribbage players can head to the Seeley’s Bay Legion, where games begin at the same time.
So whether you’re looking to socialize, sharpen your card-playing skills, or enjoy some time on the ice, there’s something for everyone. Get out, get involved, and make the most of your community
