After getting things finalized and getting settled into Lansdowne, the St. Lawrence Medical Centre Lansdowne office official welcomed Doctor Imran Tariq to the community on Monday. He said he’s had many people to thank that helped get him to our community and start working.
He said he is happy to get here to do his job, but he’s also patiently waiting for many members of his family as well, which is the hardest part.
TLTI Mayor Corinna Smith-Gatcke was on hand to welcome Tariq to the community and told us about the recruitment process.
Dr. Tariq spent the last week of October seeing a few patients and getting familiar with the clinic, staff, practitioners and community.
