Pedestrians in Gananoque should be prepared for temporary sidewalk closures as concrete rehabilitation work continues at several intersections throughout town.
The Town of Gananoque and its contractor are completing sidewalk improvements at six locations along King Street East, including Stone Street, Charles Street, William Street, Herbert Street, Elizabeth Drive and Carmichael Drive.
The work is expected to continue until November 13th.
Temporary sidewalk closures will be required while crews complete the improvements. Pedestrians are asked to watch for posted signage and use designated alternate routes where necessary.
The Town is thanking residents and visitors for their patience and cooperation as the work is completed.
