Three individuals are facing several charges after a nine month long investigation by Kingston Police. Officers reported on June 9th 2019 a victim had been shot twice with a handgun while at a residence on Rideau street in Kingston. The victim did not go to the hospital for treatment or report the incident to police. Various sources did however report the incident and an investigation by the Kingston Police Major Street Crime Unit ensued. The first suspect, 33 year old Amanda May Roberts was arrested on June 28th of 2019 following a search warrant at her home on Day street. On Friday March 27th the Major Crime Unit also arrested 34 year old Gregory Anthony Beasley from Toronto and 29 year old Kristopher Glenn Jerome of Aurora. All parties are now jointly charged with attempt murder, break and enter, unlicenced possession of a restricted weapon, possession of a loaded restricted firearm, point firearm, use firearm to commit an offence, discharge firearm with intent to endanger life, possess a restricted firearm while prohibited
