Upper Canada District School Board chairman John McAllister says they haven’t felt the pinch of staffing shortages the rest of Ontario and country have.
He says that’s due to savvy financial management.
McAllister says that’s due to a dedicated faculty.
McAllister said the board’s handling of provincial and board initiatives has put them in a good spot financially, and he doesn’t “foresee a problem,” with staffing shortages.
According to its website, the UCDSB has about 4,200 staff members across its 57 elementary schools and 21 secondary schools.
