It’s a time to reflect, re-commit and remember those through a National Day of Mourning.
This day will be recognized across Canada to remember those who lost their lives, were injured, disabled or suffered disease as a result of working at their regular job.
At a recent council meeting in the Town of Gananoque, Mayor John Beddows proclaimed Friday April 28th as the National Day of Mourning in the Town of Gananoque.
Flags will be flown at half-mast across the town, to honor those workers family and friends, who have been affected by these tragedies.
