Hey Gananoque!!
Here’s what’s going on in Gananoque and the Thousand Islands for the next 48 hours.

REMINDER! Even Though there is little to no snow on the ground, the Town of Gananoque has issued a reminder that Winter parking restrictions are still in place and those who violate the restrictions are still subject to the penalties and or fines associated with the violations
also….if you have not yet found safety glasses to view the upcoming Solar Eclipse. You can pick them up at Gananoque Town Hall. Other locations will have glasses available as well. Stay tuned for further details on where you can pick them up.
STUFF TO DO
How about some pancakes on Friday? The Gananoque Legion will hold a pancake breakfast March 29th from 9am until noon and everyone is welcome
Easter is on the way and support the Lansdowne Agricultural Society through “Egg My Yard”. More details on this on our Community Calendar.
A free event on March 30th from 10am until 12:30pm will take place at Town Hall Park in Gananoque. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures along with an easter egg hunt and plenty more.
A reminder that the weather has been very inconsistent this year and with that the Gord Brown Memorial Canada 150 Rink is closed for the season. The Town hopes everyone who used it, enjoyed their time and look forward to next season.
Local Sports:
The Gananoque Islanders split the first two games of the Eastern Ontario Super Hockey League Championship Series with the North Dundas Rockets. The Islanders lost 5-4 in Chesterville on Saturday but rebounded with a nice 7-3 win on Sunday at the Lou Jeffries Arena. Game 3 is set for Thursday in Chesterville. Come and cheer on your Gan Islanders!
