In Gananoque, the holiday light display at Town Hall Park has taken on new life, adapting to different celebrations throughout the year.
Originally named Candy Cane Lane during the Christmas holidays, it was transformed into Lover’s Lane for Valentine’s Day. Now, as St. Patrick’s Day approaches, the display is being dubbed Leprechaun Lane.
Due to the large amount of snow received this winter, many of the decorations remain frozen in the ground, allowing for extra time to enjoy the seasonal lights.
The community has embraced the repurposing of these decorations for various occasions, keeping the festive spirit alive.
Visitors can now enjoy the creative light displays while they wait for the big thaw to reveal more of the Town Hall Park decorations.
