At the recent Town of Gananoque Council meeting, a by-law was passed to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to sign an agreement with Gananoque Chevrolet GMC for the purchase of four new pick-up trucks. The procurement will not exceed $241,747.00, excluding the Town’s share of HST.
The motion was moved by Councillor Koiner and seconded by Deputy Mayor Leakey. The purchase is part of the Town’s ongoing efforts to upgrade municipal fleet vehicles, as outlined in the report. The trucks are essential for maintaining the Town’s operations and services.
The motion was approved unanimously, with all council members voting in favor. This decision ensures that the Town will acquire the necessary vehicles to support local public works and service delivery for the coming years.
