Local entrepreneurs have a chance to shine as the Leeds Grenville’s Greatest Entrepreneur Competition opens for applications. Organized by the 1000 Islands Community Development Corporation and Community Futures Grenville, the event offers expert coaching, exposure, and a chance to win one of two grand prize packages—each worth $20,000, including $10,000 in cash and $10,000 in in-kind business services.
Participants will receive free business coaching, valuable networking opportunities, and guidance to help grow and refine their businesses. From all applications received by the October 17, 2025 deadline, six finalists will be selected to pitch their ideas live at a gala event in January 2026. Two winners will be chosen by a panel of expert judges.
This high-impact competition is part of the federally funded Community Futures Program, which supports economic growth in rural communities across southern Ontario.
