The Seeley’s Bay Fire Hall and Community Hall, located at 151 Main Street, has been a cornerstone of the community since 1950. Originally built through community fundraising as a single-bay fire hall, the building has seen several expansions over the decades, including the addition of a second-floor community hall.
With the fire department now relocated to a new facility, the Township is exploring ways to reimagine and repurpose the historic building. Through a public Request for Proposals process, IDEA Inc. has been chosen as the Primary Consultant to lead the adaptive reuse project.
Residents are invited to share their ideas and feedback on the future of the site by completing a public survey. The Township says community input will play an important role in shaping next steps.
The deadline to complete the survey is September 19th.
