The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Committee of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., with several new planning applications on the agenda.
Among the new items up for review are three minor variance applications:
D13-2025-037 for 27 Hill Island Heights
D13-2025-040 for 191 Clark Drive
D13-2025-041 for 11–35 Clark Drive
These applications will be reviewed in accordance with township planning policies and provincial regulations. The committee will consider site-specific details, property characteristics, and any comments from the public or staff before making its decisions.
The meeting will also include general discussions on small accessory structures within 30 metres of the high-water mark and site plan control agreements, reflecting ongoing community interest in shoreline development and property use.
Residents and property owners are encouraged to attend the hearing or submit written comments to provide input on the proposed applications.
Following the review, the committee will issue formal decisions, which may be appealed under the Planning Act. The meeting will adjourn to reconvene at the call of the Secretary-Treasurer.
