The Town of Gananoque has announced that the Gord Brown Memorial Canada 150 Outdoor Rink is temporarily closed for maintenance. The rink will reopen for winter operations once weather conditions allow. Town officials say they hope to have the facility open as soon as possible and will post the 2026 winter schedule on the town’s website. Ice conditions will continue to be monitored, and the rink will be built and maintained as weather permits.
For those looking to skate in the meantime, public skating is available indoors at the Lou Jeffries Arena. Residents and visitors are encouraged to check the Town of Gananoque website at www.gananoque.ca
for updated schedules, public skating times, and additional information regarding both indoor and outdoor skating opportunities.
