On November 4th, Gananoque Police observed a vehicle they suspected was being operated by an unlicensed driver. Before officers could initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle entered private property. Approximately an hour later, a 9-1-1 call reported a suspicious vehicle parked at the residence.
Police attended the property and found a 57-year-old Gananoque resident asleep in the vehicle, which contained open alcohol containers. The individual was charged with trespassing at night and issued a Provincial Offence Notice for driving with an open container of alcohol. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The accused was released on an undertaking with conditions.
