The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after gunshots were reported at a residence in Sydenham, Township of South Frontenac, early on Friday, December 26, 2025.
Police were dispatched around 2:40 a.m. to a property on Sydenham Mill Street and confirmed no one was injured. The Frontenac OPP Crime Unit is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
Officers are urging residents to remain alert and report any suspicious activity. Anyone with information or video footage related to the incident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca, where tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
