The Gananoque Minor Hockey Association shared updates following recent out-of-town tournaments and the start of playoff season.
The U15 LL1 team traveled to Oshawa, enjoying the experience despite facing challenges on the ice that kept them from advancing. Meanwhile, the U15 LL2 team had an impressive showing in Kanata, going undefeated through the round robin and reaching the semi-finals. After two overtimes and a shootout, their run ended in a tough loss, but the team’s effort and determination were widely praised.
On the Rep side, playoffs are officially underway. The U13 Rep team enters the postseason on a high note, having finished the regular season in first place. The association praised all players for their hard work and sportsmanship, highlighting the commitment and talent of Gananoque’s youth hockey community as they head into the playoffs.
