After several months of free parking, downtown Gananoque is returning to regular paid parking starting this month. The Downtown Gananoque BIA provided the complimentary parking period as a way to support local businesses and encourage visitors during the winter months.
Officials say the temporary free parking program was well-received by residents and tourists alike, offering a convenient way to shop, dine, and explore the area. Drivers are reminded to check signage and feed the meter when parking in designated zones to avoid fines.
