The Town of Gananoque council will meet Wednesday, March 4th, at 5 p.m. to consider the third reading of the 2026 Water and Wastewater Operating and Capital Budget and rates by-law. Residents can attend in person at Town Hall or via teleconference.
Other key items on the agenda include a proposed Class III development permit amendment at 580 King Street East, which would add a 40 m² space for a pharmacy, and motions such as a sole-source contractor for Phase II of daycare renovations.
Staff reports will cover grant applications, legal costs, lagoon remediation funding, ice rental rate changes, and the fire department’s third- and fourth-quarter report. Council will also review correspondence from local agencies and municipalities.
