The Town of Gananoque is inviting the community to nominate outstanding volunteers for the Champions of Gananoque awards, recognizing individuals who have made a direct impact on recreational and competitive sports in the area. Three recipients will be selected through the nomination process to be honored for their dedication and contribution to local sports and recreation.
These awards aim to highlight the vital role volunteers play in fostering community involvement, supporting athletes, and advancing recreational programs. The winners’ names will be displayed on a plaque located at the entrance of the Lou Jeffries Gananoque & T.L.T.I Recreation Centre, celebrating their commitment for all to see.
Community members who know a deserving volunteer can submit a nomination by completing the Nomination Form, which outlines eligibility criteria. Forms can be dropped off at Town Hall, 30 King Street East, or emailed to clerk@gananoque.ca.
