In the early morning hours of February 27, Gananoque Police observed a vehicle parked outside a commercial business. After the vehicle left, officers investigated the premises and discovered two sets of footprints. During the search, break-in tools and stolen items were found near the business.
Officers tracked the suspects extensively and located them attempting to leave Gananoque. A 31-year-old and a 43-year-old, both from Kingston, were arrested. The pair face charges of Break and Enter with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence. Additional charges include Failure to Comply with Probation and Failure to Comply with a Release Order.
Both individuals were released on an undertaking with conditions. Police remind the public that suspicious activity should be reported immediately, and law enforcement will investigate and take action to protect local businesses and the community.
