Council in the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands recently received the 2025 Lansdowne Drinking Water Annual Report. Presented by the Ontario Clean Water Agency, the report details the system’s operation and performance over the past year.
Required under Ontario’s Safe Drinking Water Act, annual reports inform both council and the public about water system operations, testing results, and regulatory compliance.
The presentation highlighted that the Lansdowne drinking water system earned a Ministry of the Environment inspection rating of 100 percent, reflecting strong operational practices and consistent monitoring to ensure safe, reliable drinking water for residents in the Lansdowne service area.
