The Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands is introducing a new online service portal, launching March 30, 2026, aimed at making permit applications and payments easier for residents and businesses. The Citywide portal will allow users to submit and pay for permits related to building, demolition, sewage systems, and planning applications such as minor variances and zoning amendments.
Additional applications available through the portal include entranceways, road cuts, oversize loads, and water or sewer connections. Free online forms will also be offered for pre-consultation on development proposals, temporary road use, wharf access, and municipal consent for utilities.
Residents who prefer in-person service can still visit the administrative office in Lansdowne, where staff are available to assist with applications and payments. The new system aims to streamline municipal processes, reduce wait times, and provide a convenient, user-friendly way for the community to manage permits and related services online.
The portal enhances access to municipal services and supports more efficient communication between residents and township staff.
