A full crowd was on hand at Sotheby’s International Realty in Gananoque Thursday night, for the unveiling of a collection of Thousand Islands Bridge photos, in it’s early days of construction. The pictures came from Faye Dennis and Linda Beaupre, who’s father was one of the many workers on the bridge in 1938.
Linda and Faye both thanked everyone who helped get this together.
Linda and Faye say this is just some of the many pictures they have in their collection.
The images of the Canadian span feature the different stages of the bridge being built along with a picture of it in it’s current status. The collection from Linda Beaupre and Faye Dennis, will be on display for the public at Sotheby’s on King Street in Gananoque for the next month.
