After 32 years of service, District Fire Chief Derek Latimer has accepted the position of Deputy Fire Chief for the municipality of Central Frontenac.
Latimer’s tenure in Leeds and Thousand Islands has been marked by dedication to public safety and community engagement. His leadership and experience have left a lasting impact on the fire service and the residents it serves.
Staff at the Leeds Fire Department expressed their gratitude for Latimer’s years of commitment, wishing him success in his new full-time role.
