Several local agencies and community groups were on hand at the Gananoque Senniors Volunteer Expo, which was held at the Lou JEffries Arena at the end of MArch. Sharon Ansell of the Gananoque BIA said the day was a big success for all who attended the event.
Ansell tells us how many were in attendance.
A special raffle was also held the day of the event, which was won be a well known Gananoque resident.
She said it was a great way for seniors to get out and see what is going on in their community. Around 80 gathered for the one day event and Ansell thanks everyone who were involved in its success.
