Bay Road in Gananoque will reopen to traffic this Friday April 10th. Authorities remind drivers that the road has a 40 km/h speed limit and that compliance will be monitored.
Vehicular traffic will flow one-way from the Marina to King Street East, while the road remains a shared space for pedestrians, cyclists, and other recreational users. Town officials encourage everyone to exercise caution and share the road responsibly to ensure safety for all.
Residents and visitors are asked to respect the shared-use nature of the road, whether walking, jogging, cycling, or driving, as Bay Road continues to serve both recreational and vehicular traffic in the community.
