A section of William Street North is closed in Gananoque as crews carry out urgent sewer repair work.
The closure runs from Wednesday, April 8 at 8 a.m. to Friday, April 10 at 6 p.m., affecting the stretch between North Street and North Alley. During this time, no through traffic will be permitted while repairs are completed on critical underground infrastructure.
Town officials say the work is necessary to maintain and improve the sewer system, and thank residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation.
Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and expect temporary disruptions in the area. Updates will be provided if timelines change as crews continue work on the repair.
