Residents are being invited to roll up their sleeves later this month as Pitch In Day comes to Lansdowne.
The Lansdowne Association for Revitalization (LAFR) is hosting a community park and street cleanup on Thursday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers are asked to meet at the Lansdowne Library before heading out to help spruce up public spaces around the village.
LAFR says the goal is to work together for a cleaner, greener neighbourhood.
Light refreshments will be provided following the cleanup, and volunteer hours will be available for youth who participate.
Organizers note that many hands make light work and are encouraging residents of all ages to take part in the community effort.
